Months ago, we were flipping through one of the catalogues from our favorite stuffed animal vendor. We do this for inspiration as we are brainstorming and curating our gift boxes. All of a sudden, Virginia, our Founder, points and exclaims, “Oh my gosh! I love the Calliope Pony!” This pony was so cute and fuzzy with fun colorful polka dots and ribbons – the perfect mix of classic and unique!

Now normally when we are working our magic and putting boxes together, we start with the outfit and build in the accessories and other items around the outfit. But we just HAD to have this pony! We wracked our brains and searched through our inventory to see if we had an outfit that would go with the pony, but nothing was really clicking for us. We didn’t just want to throw something together and not absolutely love it. So we tabled it…but the Calliope Pony was always in the back of our minds.

A while later, we are purchasing new inventory from our clothing vendor and we saw the most adorable ruffled denim overalls that she had paired with a onesie, and we knew immediately that this outfit and our favorite pony plushie were a match made in heaven. We placed our order and found the perfect bow headband that matched the outfit and the pink polka dots on the pony. I don’t think we have ever curated a box fast enough. It just came together so seamlessly and is one of our favorite gift boxes to date!
